Modern business investment has become increasingly difficult to successfully navigate. Social impact entrepreneurs and enterprises have an even more difficult time than most securing needed funding for start-up, growth and scale -- limiting their ability to achieve positive impact.
Financial assistance in the form of grants are not accessible in real-time and banks generally carry a 60% approval rate for business loans, causing entrepreneurs to look elsewhere. With the onset of high-intensity incubators and overlapping business models, all vying for the same resources, competition for funding is fierce. Venture capital typically comes with significant strings attached including aggressive equity requirements, high penalties for unmet performance goals, and management oversight which could ultimately take control of the enterprise.
iCause Global Foundation (ICGF) was created to provide an alternative for social impact entrepreneurs and enterprises needing simple, affordable investment. Operating this vital foundation, while remaining lean, requires ongoing funding to enable it to continue and scale its important mission.
The iCause Impact project supports ICGF’s innovative approach to recycled philanthropy with the internal funds to further develop and refine technology to work with more complex projects, retain professional fundraisers, reach more donors, and to provide more sophisticated vetting of projects coming into the foundation’s program - all enabling ICGF to aid in solving more critical global challenges.
Our foundation values sustainability, innovation, and financial transparency -- and operates with low administrative expenses and does not pay director salaries.
ICGF empowers donors to make tax-deductible donations that are loaned to social impact entrepreneurs and enterprises -- who in turn make significant societal impact and fuel economic growth at local and global levels. Funding the internal operations within ICGF enables the foundation to continue and grow, effectively saving lives and assisting with issues such as reducing poverty, empowering the poor, increasing access to health and education, and building social capital among vulnerable communities.
All donations are managed by iCause Global Foundation, Inc. Our Directors and Advisors are constantly monitoring, evaluating and deliberating on global high-impact community supporting projects.
iCause Global Foundation ("iCGF”) is operating through a fiscal sponsorship with Players Philanthropy Fund (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178), a Maryland charitable trust with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to iCGF are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
